Overview

Scrap build and personal design of a level 2 high powered rocket, to obtain certification through Tripoli Wisconsin. Uses a J class engine with a dual deployment recovery system.

Goals

• Successfully obtain a level 2 high powered rocket certification through Tripoli Wisconsin.
• Utilize a dual deployment system.
• Fully design the rocket with off-the-shelf components.

Key Accomplishments

• Open Rocket: Designed fins and simulated flight through Open Rocket.
• Scratch Build: Self funded and manufactured the rocket throught the University of Wisconsin Design Innovation Lab.
